Join the AWS AI Agent Global Hackathon to explore the future of autonomous systems by building intelligent, reasoning-capable AI agents on AWS. Utilizing cutting-edge tools like Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, and AWS AgentCore, participants will develop AI agents that perform complex, automated tasks, connect to external APIs, and make decisions independently or with minimal human input.

This hackathon is your chance to demonstrate how generative AI and cloud infrastructure can transform industries such as manufacturing, finance, healthcare, gaming, and more. The goal: create impactful, scalable AI solutions that push technological boundaries.

🛠️ What to Build

- An AI agent using large language models (LLMs) hosted on AWS Bedrock or SageMaker AI

- Integrate AWS services like Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Nova, Amazon Q, AWS Transform, and Kiro

- Demonstrate autonomous decision-making, reasoning, and task execution

- Connect your agent to APIs, databases, or external tools for complex workflows

Participants should focus on creating well-architected, reproducible solutions that deliver real-world value and impact.

📋 Submission Guidelines

- Code: Public repository with complete source code, assets, and instructions

- Description: Clear explanation of your solution, how it works, and its impact

- Demo: ~3-minute video demonstrating your agent in action (hosted publicly on YouTube or Vimeo)

- Deployed project URL: Live or hosted application link

- Ensure your solution meets AWS agent qualification and leverages reasoning models for decision-making

- 1st Place: $16,000 USD + support for AWS Marketplace listing, marketing, and go-to-market assistance

- 2nd Place: $9,000 USD + support for AWS Marketplace, marketing, and GTM
