Welcome to GenHacks, a virtual hackathon for students. We started GenHacks to inspire people to build new things, whatever their experience. Whether this is your first hackathon or your tenth, you're welcome here.
Build a software or hardware project from anywhere between November 1 and December 26, 2026. Work alone or with a team of any size. Prize pool of $8000+ CAD. We have recruited industry experts from Tesla, Ford, Enercare, and KPMG to judge participant projects.
