About this event
Meta and Cerebral Valley are running a ten-day, fully online hackathon for developers worldwide, with $1,000,000 in prizes. Selected participants build with Meta's latest AI models — the Muse and SAM model families through the Meta Model API, plus Meta's open-weights models and the Muse Code coding agent — alongside live workshops and Discord office hours from Meta and partners.
Two tracks:
• Indie developer track — for individual builders and students. Judged on creativity, technical ambition and whether it works.
• Startup track — for teams and founders building a real product. Judged on technical execution and production readiness.
Every project picks one of two themes: Build for Your World (bring AI into a field you know first-hand) or Push the Frontier (software, robotics, manufacturing, energy, materials and more).
Key dates (IST):
• Applications close: 26 Oct, 9:29 AM (or earlier if all 20,000 spots fill)
• Kickoff livestream: 26 Oct, 10:30 PM
• Submissions due: 5 Nov, 7:30 AM
• Judging: 5–8 Nov · Closing ceremony and winners: 9 Nov
Free to take part if selected. Open to participants from India and most countries. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, on the clarity of your project idea and your past AI work. Select participants also get cloud credits from Baseten, Modal and Fireworks.
