Build Resilient Apps with Polkadot Cloud: Radically Open, Radically Useful

About the Hackathon

Join the Polkadot hackathon to pioneer decentralized, user-centric Web3 applications and secure your place at the forefront of blockchain innovation. Polkadot’s Rust-powered SDK and Web3 Cloud architecture empower developers to build custom blockchains, decentralized apps, and novel Web3 solutions beyond traditional smart contracts.

With a focus on openness and usefulness, the hackathon invites creators to radically expand the boundaries of Web3 technology and develop impactful applications leveraging Polkadot’s ecosystem.

Themes to Explore

- User-Centric Apps:

Build decentralized applications that prioritize user control over data and identity. Use the Polkadot technology stack and ecosystem tools, such as Parachain APIs and Polkadot’s infrastructure, to develop solutions with real-world impact.

- Build a Blockchain:

Leverage Polkadot SDK’s ready-to-use blockchain templates to build and deploy custom blockchains on Polkadot Cloud for use cases beyond the scope of smart contracts.

- Polkadot Tinkerers:

An open theme inviting creative exploration of Polkadot’s libraries, privacy tech, on-chain compute, cross-chain interoperability, data visualizations, UX improvements, and proofs of concept.
